Critically Acclaimed Design Awards Won By Force Fins

Product Design – a volume by the editors of Industrial Design Magazine. Force Fins got top billing in the Recreational and Sports Equipment section. 1984.

United States Information Agency Design in America Exhibit – a compendium of American designs in an exhibit touring eastern Europe on behalf of the US government. Force Fins traveled with this exhibit for six years, until the Berlin Wall fell down and the propoganda was no longer necessary. 1986-1992.

The Art of Design 2; An Exhibition of American Art – an exhibit and volume produced by the Haggerty Museum of Art in Milwaukee, WI. Force Fins joined the likes of Bose speakers and experimental aircraft in this exhibit. 1993.

New York Museum of Modern Art included Force Fins in a special exhibit titled "Mutant Materials in Contemporary Design." The fins are now a part of the permanent collection in MOMA's Touch Tour for blind visitors. 1995.
