Here is the art for the cover of the 2007 Tourbook. Accordign to ride organizer Jon Sharratt, "The original images is from the Sunbeam Cycles catalog cover from 1935. If you look close you'll see the gent is holding a copy of the Tourbook plus he is sporting a Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour bag tag on his lapel. Bag tags are meant for installing on your saddlebag strap but since the saddlebag is not visible, this is a bit of fictional license. The image is quite symbolic in that the happy tourists (in our modern eyes) have climbed Rock Maiden with their Steeds and are looking over the vast dale of the Mississippi where it widens to form Lake Pepin. Below you can just make out our beloved Smiling Pelican Bakery in Stockholm WI where cakes, pie and pastry await. The ladies machine is quite interesting, note the Resilion brake, celluloid-covered bars and wingnuts; all signs of a serious club racer."
