Race organizers promised a "mystery band" that was being taped for an episode of "Bands Reunited" on VH-1. At mile 6, we learned this was Dramarama, the alt-rock group from New Jersey who made the charts with "'Anything, Anything." Having Dramarama and Tone Loc on board at the race this year widened the range of musical styles this year compared to 2003, obviously a good marketing move. And it was fun for all of us!
