Bianchi Road Bike: Fixed Gear Off-Road Conversion

Some might call this a "beater," but I think it's a beaut' because it's so much fun to ride! I got this frame and fork very used in 2001 or 2002 to build up as a fixed gear road bike. I used it that way for a few years, then in 2005 I converted into an all-terrain fixed gear bike by adding the cyclocross tyres and the "interruptor" levers on the tops of the handlebars (they allow me to stay further back and less forward-hinged when braking on steep downhills, which is a nice bonus anywhere, but especially off-road). The original paint is not in great shape, but it has grey primer covering all the chips and potential rust spots. I don't know a lot about this bike, but it's apparently from the mid- to early-80s and is a mid-level racing bike made of Columbus Tretubi.
