Turkey: Istanbul, Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamon, Bodrum, and Samos (Greece) / R0014231

Photos by Chris Kostman, June 6-10, 2002: We cruised south on the coastal highway, heading for Selcuk / Ephesus. Along the way, we spotted a sign for Bergama / Pergamon, so we swung off the road to visit this famous site. This is the Red Basilica, which was one of the seven churches of the Apocalypse and the throne of the devil, according to St. John the Divine. How could I pass up a chance to pose here?
